Factice Grades
Prisma Rubber Additives are continuing to make developments to improve and expand our additives offering to the rubber compounding sector.
As part of this development, we would like to introduce our ‘Admix’ grades of oil extended factice. Oil extended options are now available to help achieve the desired softness for applications such as printing rollers, calendered articles and extruded items.
Admix grades are based on: 60 parts of factice and 40 parts of DINP.
Alternatively, we can prepare Admix grades based on a polymeric plasticiser of choice. Prisma also offer white oil dispersions to comply with FDA and BfR regulations.
Prisma Rubber Additives’ factice dispersions offer the following advantages to the compounder:

Enhances the extrusion process, leading to better dimensional accuracy and surface quality of rollers.

Imparts an excellent surface finish to rollers, improving their overall quality and feel. It can also improve the surface when rollers are ground.

Shortens the mixing time of other compounding agents, streamlining the manufacturing process.

Improves workability in sheeting and extrusion processes, which are crucial steps in roller manufacturing

An excellent additive to help de-gas rubber mixtures which aids reduction of air pockets and bubbles.
