The Adsperse F Range – FDA Compliant Masterbatch
Prisma Rubber Additives continues to make developments to improve and expand our additives offering to the rubber compounding sector. As part of this development, we are pleased to announce to the market our Adsperse F range. This is a dedicated line of additive masterbatches in polymeric and non-polymeric binder systems that are suitable for use in food contact applications in the EU and US.

Adsperse F Masterbatches
Food-contact applications for rubber compounds are regulated under FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 (Rubber articles intended for repeated use) in the USA. Whilst there is no harmonised regulation under EU law for rubber articles in contact with food, the German BfR XXI (Commodities based on natural and synthetic rubber in contact with food) recommendations are widely regarded as an industry standard. Our continuous development of the binder system and sourcing of high-purity raw materials ensures that the Adsperse F range of accelerators can be safely used for the manufacturing of rubber articles in contact with food. However, we recommend testing of the finished article in all cases to ensure compliance and safety is maintained.
The Adsperse F range is designed to complement our standard Adsperse range of additive dispersions. The full range of Adsperse products for the rubber compounding sector are as follows:
- Accelerators
- Sulphur Donors
- Anti-Degradants
- Retarders
- Metal Oxides
The Adsperse F Range also complements Prisma Rubber Additives’ established range of food-contact compliant sulphur powder dispersions which can be found on our website by clicking here.
